How to use the sauce
Ingredients:
165ml OTOKI Korean Tteokbokki Sauce Spicy
50ml water
500g tteok (rice cakes)
3 sheets Korean oden (fish cake), chopped
1/2 cup chopped spring onion
1 OTTOGI Ramen Sari (optional – can be substituted to any OTTOGI ramyeon noodles)
Instruction:
1. In a pan or wok, bring 50ml of water and 165ml of Tteokbokki sauce to a gentle boil.
2. Add the rice cakes and chopped fish cake. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
3. Once the rice cakes begin to soften, add the noodles if you’re making Rabokki (tteokbokki + ramyeon). Stir gently for 1 minute. Skip this step if you prefer plain tteokbokki.
4. Add the chopped spring onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring to prevent the tteok from sticking to the pan.
5. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Korean-style tteokbokki at home!
